The Flobots.org Community Space is for those who believe that positive social change happens when people come together to work toward a common goal. Since opening in June 2009, we have been very pleased to offer a home to the hope, energy and hard-work that change requires. We’ve hosted hundreds of community members through an eclectic mix of programming, including speakers and workshops, gardening and outdoor activities, art and film exhibitions, childrens programs, live performances and training sessions in community organizing through the Fight With Tools Institute.
Unfortunately, as our staff and programming grows, we’re unable to rent our office for public events. We have simply outgrown our space! We’re currently working hard to open a Youth Media Studio in the Five Points/Curtis Park Neighborhood, which will become a destination for Denver Public Schools students as well as the youth we serve in residential treatment centers across Metro Denver.
